Five years ago, Glazed Sunless was just a crazy idea that I had written down in a notebook. I brought it to my now fiancé, Brandon… and instead of brushing it off, he sat with it. Thought it through with me. And together, we made a decision that felt equal parts exciting and terrifying — we pulled from our 401ks to bring this vision to life with a manufacturer and chemist who believed in it too. We had no idea what we were doing, we didn’t even have the space to run the operation… but we decided to chance it and went in full force. That moment changed everything. From day one, he’s been the one pushing me to go for it, even when it felt big, uncertain, or overwhelming. He believed in this before it was anything… and more importantly, he believed in me and my vision. A couple years ago, when things started really taking off and I was completely drowning in orders, emails, all of the things, I asked him to leave his job as a finish carpenter and to come work alongside me. I didn’t want to hire out quite yet— I wanted him to be able to fully experience what we were building. Since then and through the growth, he’s been all in, every single day. Even on the days where he has identity crisis’ 🫠 Inventory. Warehouse. Systems. Packing orders. Helping lead our team behind the scenes.
